1.The agreement

These Terms are a contract between you and Visval Solutions LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as My Monies Tracker (“MyMoniesTracker”, “we”, “us”). They apply to mymoniestracker.com and the MyMoniesTracker app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy.

You must be 18 or older, a resident of the United States, able to form a binding contract, and using the Service for your own personal, non-commercial finances. The Service is offered only in the United States and connects only to US financial institutions. These Terms contain a binding arbitration clause and class-action waiver (section 10) — please read it.

2.What the Service is — and is not

MyMoniesTracker is a personal-finance tracker. It pulls your account data from banks you connect, shows balances, spending, budgets, bills, net worth and trends, and offers educational content and optional AI-generated reports.

It is not:

  • A bank, broker, lender or money transmitter. We never hold or move money in your accounts; our only charge is your subscription, through Stripe. Nothing in the Service is FDIC- or SIPC-insured.
  • Financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Reports, Score, Learn and Ask use your data to explain concepts and show patterns; they do not recommend specific securities, loans or tax positions, and they are not individualized financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Decisions are yours; talk to a licensed professional before acting.
  • A credit-reporting or credit-repair service. Your Score is our own educational measure, not a credit score.
  • A guarantee of accuracy. Data comes from your banks through Plaid and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Property values on Pro are automated estimates from a third-party provider (RentCast) based on the address you enter; they are not appraisals. Always check your bank's own records before relying on a number.

3.Your account and bank connections

Invite-only. During early access, an account needs an invite code. One account per person; keep it to yourself.

Security. Keep your password and second factor private. You are responsible for activity in your account that results from your failure to do so; you are not responsible for activity caused by our breach of these Terms or of the security practices described in our Privacy Policy. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.

Bank connections. Banks are connected through Plaid. You enter your bank credentials with Plaid, not with us, and you authorize Plaid to retrieve your account data on your behalf under Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to access.

Disconnecting a bank. Removing a bank in Settings disables scheduled retrieval for that bank at once, lets any retrieval already in progress finish (its results are then handled under your choice below), and sends Plaid a removal request for the connection (Plaid's item removal), which completes on Plaid's systems. When you disconnect, you choose what happens to that bank's history in your account: keep it (its accounts, balances and transactions stay, marked as disconnected, until you delete them or close your account) or delete it (its accounts, balances and transactions are deleted from our active production systems within 7 days, with backups expiring on the schedule in section 8). Either way, budgets, trends and other summaries are recomputed without that bank; Insights reports and Ask answers already generated are kept as your documents until you delete them. Disconnecting does not affect connections you have with Plaid through other apps or data Plaid retains under its own policy.

Connection limits. Each plan allows a set number of banks connected at the same time (history from disconnected banks does not count), plus up to 2 swaps per calendar month (section 4). Limits are enforced by the Service.

Accurate information. Keep your email address current; it is how we reach you about security, billing and changes to these Terms.

4.Plans, billing and refunds

We offer a free plan (Explore) and paid plans billed monthly or yearly. Current plans, prices, bank-connection limits and features are listed on the pricing page; the plan you choose at checkout, and its price, is confirmed on your Stripe receipt.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is added where it applies.

Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method at each renewal.

Renewal reminders. For yearly plans we email you a reminder 30 days before each renewal with the price, the renewal date and how to cancel. For monthly plans, each receipt shows the next renewal date.

Canceling. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Access continues to the end of the paid period. When a paid plan ends, or you move to a lower plan, bank connections above your new plan's limit are disconnected; unless you chose otherwise in Settings before the period ended, we keep their history marked as disconnected (section 3) and disconnect the least recently synced banks first. A downgrade from Pro to Basic takes effect at the end of the period.

Refunds. If this is your first paid subscription with us and you email us within 14 days of that first charge, we refund it in full to your original payment method, and your account moves to Explore when the refund is issued. This is a one-time right per person; plan changes and re-subscriptions do not restart it. Otherwise payments, including renewals, are not refundable except as sections 8 and 11 provide or the law requires.

Failed payments. If a charge fails we retry for up to 7 days and email you. If it still fails, the subscription ends and the account moves to Explore, with bank connections handled as under Canceling above.

Price changes. We may change prices. We email you 30 days before the first renewal at which a new price applies; cancel before that renewal if you disagree.

Swaps. A swap is disconnecting one bank and connecting a different one. You may make up to 2 swaps per calendar month; the Service blocks further swaps until the next month. Reconnecting the same bank after a connection error is not a swap.

5.Acceptable use

Use the Service for your own personal finances and nothing else. You agree not to:

  • Connect accounts you do not own or are not authorized to access.
  • Share your account, resell access, or use the Service for a business, clients or other people.
  • Probe, scan or test the Service's security, bypass its limits, or interfere with its operation.
  • Scrape, copy or extract Service content or data by automated means except your own exports and your own data.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service or build a competing product from it.
  • Upload anything unlawful, malicious or infringing.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or puts other users at risk. Security researchers: report findings to [email protected] and we will work with you in good faith.

6.AI features and learning content

Insights reports and Ask are optional and off until you turn them on. When on, two kinds of information go to Anthropic's Claude:

  • What we send automatically: a financial summary built from your account — spending by category, budget and bill status, account balances by type, net-worth totals, trends. We build it to exclude account numbers, bank login details, your name and email; it includes category totals and bill and merchant names as your bank reports them.
  • What you type into Ask: your question, as written. If you include names, account numbers or other identifying details in a question, they go with it. Keep questions general.

Anthropic processes this information under the commercial terms and data-processing agreement applicable to our integration, which do not permit it to train models on our data. Standard API inputs and outputs are generally deleted within 30 days, subject to the exceptions in Anthropic's retention policy, including legal requirements, safety enforcement and feature-specific storage. Turning Insights or Ask off stops new submissions; reports and answers already generated stay in your account until you delete them.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. It is educational, not advice, and you should verify anything you act on. Reports, Score, Learn and Ask explain concepts and show patterns in your data; they do not recommend specific securities, loans or tax positions, and the Score and Learn tracks are built from our own rubric and course material, not a personal recommendation.

Ask has a monthly limit per plan. Abusive or off-topic prompts may be declined.

7.Your data

Your data is yours. You keep all rights to it; you give us only the license needed to store, process and display it to run the Service for you.

Our commitments, in full in the Privacy Policy:

  • No ads. We never sell your data. Perks are opt-in and never targeted. “Sell” means sharing your personal information for money or other valuable consideration, as US state privacy laws use the term; disclosures to providers acting on our behalf are not sales. We do not share it for cross-context advertising or with data brokers. Providers processing personal information on our behalf are subject to contractual restrictions appropriate to their role and applicable law; Plaid and Stripe also process certain information independently, as described in their privacy policies. Perks are extras — such as a free course — offered to everyone on a plan who opts in; we do not select them using your financial data, and we tell you if we earn a commission.
  • Running the Service uses personal information where it must: support, security monitoring, error and incident diagnosis, billing and fraud prevention, backups, and the other purposes in our Privacy Policy.
  • Product analytics, research and new products use aggregated or de-identified information: we take reasonable measures so it cannot reasonably be linked to you or your device, we commit not to re-identify it, and we require the same of anyone who receives it. Where identifiable information is needed for research — for example a customer interview or usability session — we ask you first.
  • You can export or delete your data at any time, subject to the retained records in section 8.

The Service itself — its software, design, Learn content and Score rubric — belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it only as these Terms allow. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8.Ending the relationship

By you. Delete your account in Settings at any time. Except for the retained records described in section 7 of our Privacy Policy, we delete your account content — including summaries, Insights reports and Ask answers — from our active production systems within 7 days. When you confirm deletion we disable sign-in, send removal requests to Plaid for each connected bank and a cancellation request to Stripe for any subscription, stop new AI submissions, and stop routine service and marketing emails. Those provider requests complete on their systems; we monitor them through completion and refund any renewal charge attributable to our failure to complete a timely cancellation request. Necessary deletion confirmations, security communications and legally required notices may still be sent. No refund is due except as section 4 allows or this section provides.

The retained records are: encrypted backups (expire within 30 days; if a backup is restored, deletion records are reapplied before restored content becomes available through the Service); a deletion marker of account and provider identifiers and dates (400 days); audit and security logs (400 days); application logs (30 days); support emails (while needed); billing records (7 years under our records policy); and records under a legal hold, subpoena or court order. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy gives the full table.

Identifiers in retained records can still be personal information; we protect them as described in the Privacy Policy and never use them for any other purpose. Providers delete on their own schedules under their policies (section 3 for Plaid).

By us. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if required by law, or if a free (Explore) account has been inactive for 12 months (after an email warning). We may also discontinue the Service with at least 60 days' notice and a pro-rated refund of any prepaid period. When we close an account, the same deletion steps and retained-record schedule above apply, starting from the closure date.

What survives. Sections 2, 6 (AI data handling), 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 remain in effect after termination.

9.Disclaimers and limits

As is. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of financial data.

Third-party providers. The Service depends on providers including Plaid, Stripe, Anthropic, RentCast and AWS. We are not responsible for their outages, errors or decisions to stop serving an institution or us; a feature may stop if its provider does.

No liability for financial decisions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any decision you make, or do not make, based on the Service, including missed payments, overdrafts, investment losses or tax outcomes.

Cap. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from the Service or these Terms, together, is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the first such claim and (b) $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, however arising.

Exceptions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our fraud or gross negligence.

Your indemnity. You will defend and compensate us for third-party claims to the extent they arise from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent the claim is attributable to our own breach, negligence or wrongful conduct.

10.Disputes: talk first, then arbitration

Talk first. Before either of us starts a formal claim, we email the other a short description of the dispute and what we want, and we try in good faith to resolve it for 60 days. Email us at [email protected]; we email the address on your account. Limitation periods are paused while the talk-first period runs.

Binding arbitration. If that fails, any dispute arising from the Service or these Terms is resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules and Consumer Due Process Protocol, not in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this clause. The arbitrator can award whatever a court could, to you individually. Hearings, if any, take place by video or in the county where you live, at your choice; filing and arbitrator fees are allocated under the AAA consumer fee schedule. If the AAA will not administer a claim because we failed to register this clause or pay required fees, either of us may bring that claim in court. If the AAA is unavailable for any other reason, the parties will agree on a substitute administrator or, failing agreement, a court will appoint one. The arbitrator decides disputes about the interpretation, applicability, enforceability or scope of this arbitration clause, except that a court decides whether an agreement to arbitrate was formed and which agreement governs, whether the class-action waiver is enforceable, and any other question the law reserves to courts.

Class-action waiver. Claims are brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court, not arbitration. This waiver does not bar a claim for public injunctive relief where the law does not allow that waiver; such a claim is severed and stayed in court until the arbitration ends.

Small claims and opt-out. Either of us may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court instead. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your account email and the words “opt out of arbitration”.

Law and venue. Texas law governs these Terms. If you live outside Texas, the consumer-protection laws of your state that cannot be waived also apply. Anything not subject to arbitration is heard in the state or federal courts of Travis County, Texas, except that small-claims actions may be brought in the small-claims court where you live, and nothing here overrides a venue right that applicable consumer-protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.

11.Changes and general terms

Changes. We may update these Terms as the business and the Service change. For a material change we email you and show a notice in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Updated Terms govern use of the Service from their effective date, subject to applicable law; if you do not accept them, delete your account before the effective date and we refund any unused prepaid period. Changes to the arbitration clause do not apply to a dispute either of us had already notified the other of before the change.

Changes to how we use personal information are addressed separately in our Privacy Policy. We will obtain separate consent where required before applying a change to information already collected. The date and version at the top identify the current Terms; previous versions are available on request.

Early access. During invite-only early access, features and limits may change more often; we tell you in the app.

General. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a part is unenforceable the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor that honors them. We send notices and receipts to your account email. Where the law requires your separate consent before a disclosure is delivered electronically, we obtain it in the app first, and you can withdraw it as described there; notices to us go to [email protected]. Neither of us is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, except payment obligations.
